Armenia’s ambassador to US discusses direct Los Angeles–Yerevan flight possibility

Armenia’s Ambassador to the United States, Narek Mkrtchyan, had a meeting with Chaitan Jain, United Airlines Director for International Regulatory Affairs.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the possibility of launching direct flights between Los Angeles and Yerevan.

Ambassador Mkrtchyan emphasized the importance of establishing a direct route for Armenia, noting the large Armenian diaspora community in Los Angeles.

For his part, Jain outlined United Airlines’ strategic priorities, recent industry trends and developments, and the airline’s operational considerations.
