Manhunt announced for suspects in Chechen citizen’s murder in Armenia

Under Article 155, Part 2, Point 8 of the Criminal Code (murder committed by a group of persons), a public criminal prosecution has been initiated against two individuals who committed the murder of a Chechen citizen, the Investigative Committee reports.

Detention has been selected as the preventive measure for the suspects, and instructions have been issued to declare them wanted in accordance with the law.

The preliminary investigation continues.

On Oct. 20, a 23-year-old Chechen citizen, Aishat Baymuradova, was killed in Armenia.
