The bomb explosion in 1992 silenced the whistle of trains as
well. The Ijevan-Gazakh-Baku railway line stopped operating after the last
railway bridge connecting the two states blew up. The first railway station was
Barkhudarlu.
Going back to history, this settlement became an Azerbaijani
enclave in Soviet Armenia on grounds of the false myth about the Soviet
brotherhood of nations. Sofulu is located near Barkhudarlu. It is on the list
of the villages that are to be ceded to the enemy.
The Armenian authorities have decided to take the unknown
folder out of the unknown drawer and following the logic of the Armenian
parable about the cuckoo, bring pieces of our state as a gift to the educated
and constructive partner, as the prime minister puts it.
