‘See you, Karolek’: Polish president receives death threats

Polish President Karol Nawrocki is receiving threats on social media, TASS reports, citing the country’s Minister of Digital Development, Krzysztof Gawkowski.

He noted that another similar incident occurred today — a “call to organize an assassination attempt against the president of Poland.”

Earlier, police managed to identify and detain a 19-year-old Polish citizen who had posted an image of a gun over the president’s photo on X, along with the caption “See you, Karolek.”
