Apple to send delegation to Armenia

Armenian Ambassador to the U.S., Narek Mkrtchyan, visited Nov. 20 Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, where he met with Jason Lundgard, Senior Director of the company’s International Collaboration Division, the Armenian Embassy in the U.S. reports.

During the meeting, Mkrtchyan briefly presented the Memorandum of Understanding on Innovation Partnership in the Armenia-US AI and semiconductors sector, signed on Aug. 8, as well as the advantages and investment opportunities of Armenia’s technological environment. Possible areas of cooperation and the prerequisites for Apple to operate in Armenia were discussed.

According to the agreement reached, Apple will soon send a delegation to Armenia to explore possible avenues for expanding the company’s operations in the country.
