Kazakhstan may open new trade route to Turkey via Armenia
Kazakhstan may open a new trade route to Turkey passing through Armenia, Kazakhstan’s Economy Minister Serik Zhumangarin announced.
According to him, the route through Armenian territory would provide Astana access to Turkish ports.
“We currently go through Azerbaijan to reach ports in Georgia. The new route would allow access to Nakhijevan, then Turkey, and finally Turkish ports,” Zhumangarin said.
