US and Ukraine agree on ‘most’ of the 28 points with territorial issue left to Zelensky and Trump

During the meeting held in Geneva, the Ukrainian and American delegations managed to reach agreement on most points of the US peace plan and resolved a significant part of the disputed issues, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing its sources.

According to the publication, among the contentious issues are the size of the Ukrainian armed forces, control over the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, and the format of the prisoner exchange. According to the media outlet, the points on territories and the constitutional provision that provides for Ukraine’s non-membership in NATO will be discussed at the level of Presidents Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump.

Sources say that if Kyiv and Washington reach an agreement on the plan in the near future, and if the US coordinates with its European partners the points that concern them directly, then American negotiators will begin trying to persuade Russia — both with a whip and by “appeasing.”
