Kremlin considers US plan on Ukraine ‘meaningful’
The Kremlin is following information regarding the meeting between Russian and U.S. representatives in Abu Dhabi, but there is no news yet, Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.
According to him, Russia considers the U.S. plan on Ukraine to be meaningful.
Peskov stated that discussions on the security architecture are impossible without European participation, and at some point, their involvement will be necessary. He also noted that Russia is interested in achieving its goals through political and diplomatic means.
The Kremlin spokesperson added that the U.S. and Ukraine are working on a peace plan, which has been presented to Russia. He noted that the plan largely aligns with the spirit of the Anchorage summit, adding that U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan for resolving the Ukraine issue could serve as a very good basis for negotiations.
Peskov also mentioned that Moscow has not yet received an updated 19-point peace plan regarding Ukraine.
