UK appoints its first resident military attaché to Armenia

The United Kingdom has appointed its first resident defense attaché to Armenia.

According to the British Embassy in Yerevan, Maj. Thomas Shorland Ball has been assigned to the post.

“This historic milestone reflects the growing strength of the UK–Armenia partnership and will further enhance our defence and security cooperation,” the embassy said in a statement.
