Netflix acquires Warner Bros. Discovery for $82.7B, including HBO and HBO Max

Streaming service Netflix is acquiring Warner Bros. Discovery for $82.7 billion, including the HBO and HBO Max film and TV studios, the company announced.

Netflix stated that the deal “combines the best streaming service with Warner Bros.’ century-long legacy.”

Warner Bros.’ series and shows, including The Big Bang Theory, The Sopranos, Game of Thrones, and DC Comics content, will now be available in Netflix’s catalog.
