Small steps toward a solution become more realistic as we strengthen peace, says Pashinyan on Armenians detained in Baku

During a panel discussion organized by the German Council on Foreign Relations, PM Nikol Pashinyan addressed the issue of Armenian prisoners held in Baku.

He described the matter as highly sensitive.

“This issue is more easily addressed in an atmosphere of cooperation and peace rather than in a climate of conflict. In a conflict environment, there is no way to address it. However, as we move toward strengthening peace, finding a solution to this problem through small steps is becoming increasingly realistic. Establishing peace also means resolving other related issues. This is our position,” Pashinyan said.
