Artsakh NA convened an emergency session. MP Balayan spoke on behalf of the National Assembly.
“Any statement made by Nikol Pashinyan, ignoring the sovereignty of the Republic of Artsakh, our people’s right to self-determination and the fact of its realization, and any document drawn up based on such statements, are unacceptable and null for us. Artsakh will never deviate from its path of struggle. The National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh, deeply worried about the dangerous state of affairs facing us today, calls on the Armenian nation not to condone the calamitous actions of the current Armenian authorities toward the cession of a part of our homeland, that is the Republic of Artsakh and RA sovereign territories, under the pretext of them being enclaves to Azerbaijan, which will inevitably lead to the loss of our statehood. Likewise, we call on the former and incumbent presidents of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh to denounce the statements made by Nikol Pashinyan on May 22, 2023. Otherwise, silence from your side will be seen as an indication of agreement with the RA PM.
