Moscow and Kyiv accepted Pope Francis’ proposal to receive his special envoys for ceasefire negotiations, the Vatican information platform Il Sismografo reports, not revealing the source of their information.
According to Il Sismografo, Prefect of the Dicastery for the Eastern Churches Archbishop Claudio Gugerotti can be appointed to the Russian Federation, and President of the Italian Episcopal Conference Cardinal Matteo Maria Zuppi can be sent to Ukraine.
