Cavusoglu mentioned the reason for closing its airspace to Armenian aircraft. Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu referred to this in his interview. He noted that their airspace is closed to Armenian flights to third countries.
Cavusoglu referred to the erecting of a monument dedicated to the participants of Operation Nemesis, as well, “Putting up a monument to Operation Nemesis in Yerevan is unacceptable.” Cavusoglu stated in the interview that Armenia carries weapons to Karabakh, generating tension. “We stand by Azerbaijan,” added the Turkish Foreign Minister.
