Armen Grigoryan: Armenia’s withdrawal from the CSTO was discussed

“Armenia’s withdrawal from CSTO was discussed. We expected the CSTO to act during Azerbaijan’s direct aggression on the Armenian territory last September, but it did not take any actions”. This was stated by Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan in an interview with Novaya Gazeta.

Armen Grigoryan gave a positive answer to whether there was a discussion on withdrawing from the CSTO, “Yes, there were such discussions; this is a natural reaction.”
