According to Putin, conflicts are intensifying, new hotspots are emerging, and the overall international situation is deteriorating.

He stated that Russia will continue to pursue a balanced policy and remain committed to a multipolar world.

Putin also noted that the crisis in Ukraine is a direct consequence of years of neglecting Russia’s interests and NATO’s advance toward its borders.

“Russia will consistently continue to pursue its objectives in Ukraine,” the president said.

“We believe it is worth returning to substantive dialogue to strengthen the conditions for a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine, and the sooner this happens, the better.”
