UK advises citizens against traveling to Turkey

The UK Foreign Office has warned its citizens not to travel to 16 countries, including Turkey, Ermenihaber.am writes.

The warning notes that potential military and political tensions in the Middle East could lead to flight disruptions, airspace restrictions, and unpredictable security risks. People are therefore urged to reconsider any travel plans to Turkey and to exercise caution if already in the country.

The advisory comes shortly after rising tensions between the US and Iran and Iran’s closure of airspace and flights. Authorities note that these developments could also affect Turkey.
