Like Putin on a horse: British official faces investigation for photoshoot request

A senior policing oversight official in the United Kingdom is under investigation after reportedly asking a female colleague to organize a photoshoot on horseback, emulating Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Daily Mail reports.

Rupert Matthews reportedly sent an email to his colleague requesting her help in arranging the photoshoot to advance his career.

The complaint has been filed on the grounds of misuse of official position. It will be reviewed by the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Police and Crime Panel’s complaints sub-committee.
