ChatGPT could boost scientist productivity worldwide
OpenAI, the developer of the ChatGPT chatbot, says its product can increase the productivity of scientists around the world.
According to a report provided to Axios, the company said the average weekly number of messages related to complex topics in science and mathematics has increased by about 47% — from 5.7 million to nearly 8.4 million messages.
OpenAI says this growth highlights how ChatGPT is accelerating cutting-edge research, as a large and growing group of users relies on the system each month for “serious scientific and engineering work for the benefit of society.”
