Russian and Ukrainian delegations to hold bilateral talks, Rubio says

US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will not participate in the next round of talks on Ukraine, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said.

According to Rubio, the upcoming meeting will be bilateral between Russia and Ukraine, though US representatives may have the opportunity to join them.

“They [Russia and Ukraine] plan to continue negotiations this week, this time bilaterally. US presence is possible,” Rubio said during a Senate hearing.
