Greenland to get its own place on Denmark’s new coins

Greenland will have its own distinct place on Denmark’s new coins, Euronews writes.

The updated coins have been issued across the entire kingdom since December 2025.

Previously, the Faroe Islands and Greenland were represented together on Danish coins, a design that was often interpreted as symbolizing Denmark’s North Atlantic territories.
