Next meeting with Russia could be rescheduled due to events in Iran, Zelensky says
The date of the next meeting between Russian and Ukrainian representatives could change due to events taking place in Iran, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told reporters, according to TASS.
He noted that the agreement originally scheduled the meeting for Feb. 1 in Abu Dhabi.
“I don’t know exactly when the next meeting will take place. It was supposed to be on Sunday. We clarified that it would happen in Abu Dhabi. It is very important for us that everyone involved in the agreement participates, as all parties are awaiting a response. However, the date or venue could change, because, in our view, something is happening with the US and Iran, and these developments could likely affect the schedule,” the Ukrainian president said.
