Album of the Year in Spanish: Bad Bunny wins Grammy and dedicates award to immigrants

Bad Bunny has become the first artist in the 68-year history of the Grammy Awards to win Album of the Year with a record entirely performed in Spanish, BBC reports.

The shape-shifting musician beat Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar to win the night’s top prize for his sixth album, Debí Tirar Mas Fotos.

The 31-year-old Puerto Rican artist dedicated his Grammy to immigrants.

During the ceremony, many other artists also voiced their opposition to the US administration’s measures against immigration. Among them was British singer Olivia Dean, who was recognized as Best New Artist.
