Trump’s envoy says TRIPP is historic step toward strong, interconnected economies in South Caucasus

The TRIPP project is a historic step toward building strong, interconnected economies in the South Caucasus and maintaining sustainable peace, US Special Presidential Envoy for Central Asia Sergio Gor said at the B5+1 business forum in Bishkek.

“Since the historic peace summit that brought Armenia and Azerbaijan together, we have continued to promote the Trump Route. This route will ensure direct transport links from Central Asia through the South Caucasus to the West. It is a historic step toward building strong, interconnected economies in the region and maintaining sustainable peace,” Gor said.

According to him, the Trump administration places special importance on Central Asia and recognizes the strategic significance of the region.
