Iran’s president says country has chosen path of diplomacy, but Iran won’t yield to injustice and violations

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that the country has chosen the path of diplomacy, based on the efforts of its officials and the guidance set by the Supreme Leader.

“I reiterate once again: we do not seek to possess nuclear weapons. We have said this many times, and we are ready for any type of inspection,” Pezeshkian said. “However, there is a high wall of mistrust that has been built by the United States and Europe through their actions and words.”

He noted that this wall is preventing productive outcomes in negotiations.

“If the world truly seeks diplomacy, it must stop its provocative actions. Our Iran will not bow to their excessive demands. Our Iran will not retreat in the face of injustice and violations. We have understood that we can only rely on our own people and our own capabilities,” the Iranian president said.
