
Police to resume searches at former estate of British king’s brother
Thames Valley Police are set to resume searches at Royal Lodge, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s former home in Berkshire, the BBC writes.
Mountbatten-Windsor was pictured on Thursday night returning to Sandringham Estate after his arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
In an update from Thames Valley Police, the force says that Andrew has been released under investigation.
The arrest came after Thames Valley Police said they were assessing a complaint over the alleged sharing of confidential material by the former prince with late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein
After the arrest, King Charles announced the police “have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation.”
