Turkish minister says Armenia could join Azerbaijan-Turkey energy cooperation
Turkey hopes the process of normalizing relations with Armenia will also have a positive impact on economic ties, Alparslan Bayraktar, Turkey’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, told the Turkish service of APA news agency.
The minister noted that Turkey supports the normalization process from this perspective. Bayraktar stated that Armenia could become part of energy cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
“Essentially, normalization also implies modernizing economic relations. We can develop cooperation in the energy sector and take advantage of the opportunities available in this area. I hope this process will continue for the benefit of all parties,” the minister said.
