Egypt increases entry visa fee, Cairo 24 says

Starting March 1, 2026, the cost of an entry visa to Egypt will rise from $25 to $30, Cairo 24 writes.

“The Chamber of Tourism Companies has announced the increase in entry visa fees at Egyptian border checkpoints. From March 1, the fee will be $30 instead of $25,” the outlet states.

The announcement notes that the decision aims to develop the tourism sector, improve the quality of services, and enhance Egypt’s competitiveness in the tourism industry.
