EU moves to deny entry to Russian soldiers who fought in Ukraine
The European Union intends to bar entry to Europe for all individuals who have fought in the war in Ukraine on Russia’s side, EU Foreign Affairs Minister Kaja Kallas announced at a press conference following a meeting of EU foreign ministers.
“At the European Commission, we are working to prevent hundreds of thousands of former Russian soldiers who took part in the war in Ukraine from entering the Schengen Area,” Kallas said.
