Azerbaijan’s deputy foreign minister addresses ‘trials’ of Armenian prisoners and TRIPP at UN
Elnur Mamedov, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister, participated in the high-level segment of the 61st session of the United Nations Human Rights Council.
In his speech, he discussed the current state of post-conflict relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as issues arising from the Washington agreement between the two countries, including the implementation of the Trump Route (TRIPP). Notably, his ministry’s statement once again used the term “Zangezur corridor.”
He also addressed the sham trials of former officials from Nagorno-Karabakh, claiming that they were conducted “in accordance with international law and national legislation.”
