Japan’s embassy suspends operations in Azerbaijan

The Japanese Embassy in Azerbaijan has temporarily halted its activities, according to a statement posted on the embassy’s social media pages.

“Due to events occurring in the region, the embassy is suspending its operations for an indefinite period. The acceptance of visa applications and visa issuance have also been halted. We ask for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience caused,” the embassy stated.
