Iran given final chance, Witkoff says

The US delegation offered Iran a 10-year freeze on uranium enrichment, but Tehran completely rejected the proposal, US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff told Fox News.

“We discussed a 10-year freeze on enrichment with them,” Witkoff stated.

According to the official, the Iranian authorities turned down the offer, and it became clear during the second round of negotiations that no agreement would be reached.

Witkoff added that the American delegation held a third meeting with the Iranian side in order to give them a final opportunity.
