Lavrov says Iran has inalienable right to enrich uranium

Neither the International Atomic Energy Agency nor US intelligence has confirmed that Iran possesses or is attempting to produce nuclear weapons, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.

“Iran, as a party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, has an inalienable right to enrich uranium. It is unrealistic to expect it to be the only country in the world to give up this right,” Lavrov added.
