Russia calls for end to hostilities

The consequences of aggression against Iran are already being felt across the region, Sergey Lavrov, Russia’s foreign minister, has said.

“Moscow firmly and decisively calls on all parties to halt military operations,” Lavrov stated.

He also noted that Russia will not impose unilateral sanctions on the United States over the situation in Iran, adding, “That is not our method.”
