Iran urges European countries to refrain from actions against Tehran

Iran has called on European countries to refrain from getting engaged in any Israel-US joint operations against Tehran, Esmail Baghaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, said.

“Any such action against Iran will be considered an alliance [with Israel and the United States],” Baghaei stated. “It will be regarded as an act of war against Iran.”

Earlier, the governments of Germany and France had announced their readiness to use military force if Iran does not halt “disproportionate and indiscriminate attacks” against their allies in the Middle East.

Baghaei held the press conference at one of the schools affected by recent airstrikes.
