Armenia-Azerbaijan peace deal holds great importance, Georgian PM says

Maintaining stability in the region is of utmost importance, Georgian PM Irakli Kobakhidze said during the 15th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Georgia and Armenia.

Commenting on recent regional developments, Kobakhidze expressed satisfaction with positive trends observed in the area. He also stated that the peace agreement signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan carries significant importance.

“This creates a strong foundation for us to pay greater attention to strengthening and developing our region,” Kobakhidze added.
