Iran’s president thanks Spain for opposing US and Israeli military action

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed gratitude to Spain for opposing the military action carried out by the United States and Israel.

“The responsible stance taken by Spain in countering the military aggression directed against several countries, including Iran, by the Zionist-American coalition shows that morality still exists in the West and that the voice of conscience can be heard. I thank the Spanish authorities for their position,” Pezeshkian wrote on X.

Earlier, Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez described the goals of the US and Israeli military operations as incomprehensible, stating that Madrid opposes the war.
