Iran’s foreign ministry says Iran received no signals of dialogue from US

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi said that since the start of military operations, Iran has not received any signals of dialogue from the United States.

“We have not sent any messages to the Americans either, as we are currently defending ourselves,” the official stated.

He also stressed that Iran will not allow commercial vessels or warships belonging to hostile states to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, in the event of war, Iran must maintain control over the waterway.
