Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian.
Pezeshkian said the missiles that landed on Turkish territory do not belong to Iran.
According to a statement released by the Iranian side, Pezeshkian proposed establishing a joint investigative team between the two countries to examine the accusations regarding a missile attack on Turkey.
He also said that Israel and the United States are trying to create a confrontation between Iran and its neighbors, and that some media outlets linked to them are spreading accusations that Iran carried out a missile strike on Turkey.
