‘Be careful, it could be you who disappears’: Larijani responds to Trump

In response to US President Donald Trump’s warnings, Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said “Iran’s people are not afraid of your empty threats.”

“Even much greater powers than you have been unable to eliminate them… So be careful, it could be you who disappears,” Larijani noted.

Earlier, Trump had posted: “If Iran does anything that stops the flow of Oil within the Strait of Hormuz, they will be hit by the United States of America TWENTY TIMES HARDER than they have been hit thus far.”

Later, Larijani added: “The Strait of Hormuz will either be a channel of peace and prosperity for everyone, or a channel of defeat and suffering for those who provoke war.”
