6 dead in Swiss bus fire, authorities investigate possible self-immolation
At least six people died and three were injured in a bus fire in western Switzerland in what police said may have been a deliberate act with one media outlet reporting that a person set fire to themselves, Reuters writes.
Police said the bus became engulfed in flames on Tuesday evening on a road in Kerzers, a town of about 5,000 inhabitants in the canton of Fribourg.
According to a spokesperson for the Fribourg police, authorities currently have reason to believe that one of the people on the bus deliberately set themselves on fire.
