Israel threatens to ‘take’ Lebanese territory if Hezbollah attacks continue
Israel’s Defense Minister Katz says he has given Lebanon’s government an ultimatum to stop Hezbollah from carrying out attacks in northern Israel or Israel’s military will invade Lebanese territory, Al Jazeera writes.
“I warned the president of Lebanon that if the Lebanese government does not know how to control the territory and prevent Hezbollah from threatening the northern communities and firing at Israel, we will take the territory and do it ourselves,” Katz stated.
