Azerbaijan’s PM calls TRIPP the ‘Zangezur Corridor’
One of the most important outcomes of the Washington summit was laying the foundation for the “Zangezur Corridor,” Azerbaijani PM Ali Asadov said while presenting the “2025 Report on the Activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan”.
It was noted that the summit held on Aug. 8, 2025, in Washington, with the participation of the leaders of Armenia, the United States, and Azerbaijan, contributed to the formation of new geopolitical realities in the South Caucasus and created favorable conditions for sustainable peace and development.
“One of the key results of the Washington Peace Summit was also laying the foundation for the Trump Road for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP), i.e., the ‘Zangezur Corridor.’ This multimodal route will ensure uninterrupted connections between the main part of Azerbaijan and the Nakhijevan Autonomous Republic, as well as contribute to the diversification of international transport and transit routes passing through our country,” Asadov said.
