Israel claims it eliminated Larijani ‘for free’ despite $10M bounty on his head

A $10 million bounty had been placed on the head of Ali Larijani, and “we did it for free,” Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said today, confirming reports of Larijani’s death.

Earlier, following a statement by Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz, the country’s armed forces also confirmed that Larijani had been killed in an overnight airstrike in Iran, The Times of Israel reports.

The Israeli military claims that after the killing of former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Larijani “served as the de facto leader of the Iranian terrorist regime.”
