NATO plans to deploy another Patriot system in Turkey
During the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, three ballistic missiles were recently launched toward Turkish airspace, all of which were intercepted by NATO’s air defense systems, according to Ermenihaber.am.
“Following these incidents, NATO deployed a Patriot air defense system in Turkey’s Malatya Province. According to Bloomberg, NATO has included the expansion of Turkey’s ballistic missile defense capabilities on its agenda and is discussing the deployment of another Patriot air defense system in that context,” the media outlet notes.
