Woman who fired at Rihanna’s house pleads not guilty

A Florida woman pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to ​the attempted murder of singer Rihanna, Reuters writes.

The woman, Ivana Lisette Ortiz, faces 14 charges, including attempted murder and assault with a semiautomatic firearm.

Ortiz, who is from Orlando, faces a ​maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted.

Earlier this month, shots were fired at the Beverly Hills home of the American pop star Rihanna. The 30-year-old Ivana Lisette Ortiz was arrested as a suspect.
