Starmer says UK won’t join Middle East war despite pressure

The United Kingdom will not take part in the ongoing war in the Middle East, British PM Keir Starmer has announced.

He stated that a war with Iran does not align with the country’s national interests.

“Regardless of the pressure on me or others, I will make decisions based on the United Kingdom’s national interests. This is not our war. We will not participate in this conflict,” Starmer stated.
