Iran’s parliament speaker says 7M Iranians ready to take up arms and defend homeland

Right now, in less than a week, a powerful nationwide campaign has mobilized around seven million Iranians, who have already declared that they are ready to take up arms and defend their homeland, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, wrote, addressing the United States.

“Let me tell you something from the bottom of my heart — Iranians not only talk about defending their country, they shed blood for it. We have done it before, and we are ready to do it again,” Ghalibaf stated.
