UNICEF: Should violence return to this scale, we can assume that hundreds more children will be killed and injured every day

More than 5,300 Palestinian children have been reportedly
killed since the escalation of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict. UNICEF
Executive Director Catherine Russell made a statement on this.

As noted, the figure does not include many children still
unaccounted for.

“Should violence return to this scale and intensity, we can
assume that hundreds more children will be killed and injured every day,”
Russell said.
