Israel orders ongoing strikes on Iran, defense minister says
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have struck Iran’s largest petrochemical plant, following an attack last week on Iran’s second-largest facility, Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz said.
“As a result, both facilities, which together account for 85% of Iran’s petrochemical production, are now non-operational. This is a multibillion-dollar economic blow to the Iranian regime,” Katz added.
“Netanyahu and I have instructed the IDF to continue high-intensity strikes on the Iranian regime’s national infrastructure,” Katz said.
